African Cultural Internships

As part of Tsirkormpam's quest to promote African culture, we have developed an internship program for cultural enthusiast from accross the world to come and learn traditional African dance and drumming. 

Africa is well-known for its unique music and dancing. Tsirkormpam offers the opportunity to come to Ghana and learn about these wonderful traditional art forms which have been performed for centuries.

Tsirkormpam ensures that interns experience different cultures from accross the country. Gota dance, Kpanlogo, Takai and Kete are traditional dances performed by Voltarians, The Gas, The Dagombas and the Akans respectively. You get to learn and to practice different cultures. Either way, we will give you the best.

With over 150years of combined experience in drumming and dancing, our interns can expect nothing but the best. We are a team of 18 dedicated youth, working together to ensure that you get the best African cultural experience. You'll surely fall in love, with the African culture.

Tsirkormpam Dance Theatre is strategically located in the citadel of African History, Cape Coast, the then Gold Coast. Our office is less than 10km from Elmina Castle, the oldest and biggest castle in West Africa. Other attractions near us include the Cape Coast Castle, Kakum National Park (Canopy Walkway), and the famous Cape 3 points.
